Honda has announced the release of a new modification of the six-seat compact van Jade RS to the Japanese market.
The car will go on sale May 28, and its main feature will be a new 1.5-liter turbo engine with direct fuel injection, developing 150 hp power (at 5500 rev / min) and 203 Nm of torque (in a range from 1600 to 5000 rev / min).
Honda has already demonstrated a new engine for the new generation of compact van Stepwgn (later he will appear on the family Civic), but then the exact characteristics of the engine were not reported. The company said that the traction unit performance comparable to a 2.4-liter “aspirated” but turbo spends much less fuel. Stated consumption is 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers on cycle JC08.
The engine is mated to a CVT with seven fixed “transfer”, which you can switch between using paddles “petals”. In addition, the new product is different from the usual Jade stiffer suspension (15% front and 20% rear), as well as the presence of an electronic assistant that helps improve manageability.
The car retained the three-row seating formula. The choice of two interior colors are available – black and brown. Kompaktven also equipped with a variety of decorative elements to emphasize the “sporty” image modification RS, in particular, logos, icons and pedals.
Order Honda Jade RS can be as low as 2.53 million yen.
